You're Invited
I've promised myself that I will TRY not to cry! Not that I expect to be able to keep this promise since I cried when his umbilical cord stump fell out (he was growing up too fast for me) and I cried all the way to and all the way back from his first day at daycare! I suspect that there will be many more tears to come but ohhh they are so worth it just for one of his cheeky smiles!
Today I got busy and decided that it was time to do his party invitations and boy did we have a ball! One cupcake, several photos and a nap later, I came up with this:
I can't wait ! I hope you like it as much as I do!

Newborn Sweetness
Last weekend I got to meet little J. He was just perfect in every way and I had trouble parting with him but his Mum insisted on taking him home with her. As you can see, they are totally in love with each other....Awww..
and he fits perfectly in mummy's arms.
This was my favourite shot of the day. I love the eye contact and that sweet little half smile.

Perfect Bump
Enough about my woes, I have actually been busy and will be posting more of Perth's best looking babies very soon but right now I want to show off one very Yummy Mummy in waiting.
When I met N and saw her beautiful baby bump, I got so excited....such a perfect bump! And she was such a breeze to work with. Willing to try my ideas and an ideal model. Then there was her Hubby A who was just a champ! I love his tattoos! See for yourself:
The perfect bump...
...full of love.
A different angle
You gotta love a man who loves Mickey...
A wanted a family picture with his Fur Baby Texas. Love it.

Time Flies
My sincere apologies but this last month has been somewhat chaotic in my household. My in laws arrived back from their overseas holidays and stayed with us until they overcame their jet-lag and then there was school holidays when we had one of our beautiful nieces (hubby and I have five nieces and one nephew) stay with us for a week and now both of my men have a cold!
Aside from the rather chaotic family life, Violet and I have now finished our show special and will be advertising our Christmas special any day now, so stay tune for more. In the mean time, check out these cuties from a few weeks ago.
Miss A1 (A names are very popular at the moment) is such a beautiful little girl with such a gentle nature... Can you see it in her eyes?
Safe in Daddy's arms...
Peeka...boo.
Miss A2 is just how I love my babies. So chubby and yummy. If I ever have a little girl, I want her to be just like this....
Check out her cheeks...
Can you believe how beautiful she is?
But don't let that face fool you...this little one's got attitude!
Miss A3 was anything but camera shy. She just smiled and smiled and smiled through the whole session and when she smiles, she just lights up the room.
But there was time for a serious moment.
But that didn't last long.
Next up was Mister J. Check him out Mums because he's bound to break a few hearts in his life time.
I love, love, love his kissie lips.
and yes...he has a drop dead smile to complete to look... watch out ladies!
Last up for this session was little Miss S. She's such an angel.
I love her cute little nose.
and here eyes are so beautiful. Lucky duck!
I have a few more pics to post very soon and I'll also be posting the Christmas specials as well, so stay tuned.

Sweetie Pie
My favourite pic from today, love this cheeky expression:
Did she just roll her eyes at me?
All right Miss E. I forgive you. With a smile like that, how could I not?

Spring is in the air
Now, I'm not much of a gardener myself, but I only had to look in my own backyard to be rewarded by nature's beauty and I thought I'd take this opportunity to share these with you.
Nothing says "Spring" like a yellow daisy:
and these freesias are just divine:
I have no idea what these flowers are but they remind me of cherry blossoms:

Feel the Love
Last Saturday, Violet and I had our first session together from the Pregnancy, Babies and Children's Expo! I was so excited I could hardly sleep the night before and we had so much fun.
Yes we love kids of all ages (even big ones) but one of the hidden gems of doing what we do is having the opportunity to meet and get to know the families of these dear little ones and seeing just how much love they have for each other. For us, it's a real privilege to be able to witness a small part of that and if I've done my job right, I get to capture this for all to see. So here goes; some pics from Saturday:
First up was Miss A. and her stunning eyes:
This little one was just so well behaved I'm sure that she's destined to be a super model. And her smile could melt the polar ice caps. Check it out for yourself:
I think her Daddy's going to have a hard time keeping the boys away when she's older!
Then we had Charlie's angels. These cousins were so full of energy and certainly made me work but it's pretty obvious that there's a lot of love in this family:
and starkissess all around:
Yep, Daddy didn't miss out either:
Next came this lucky Boy, Mister D. He came with his two big sisters and a cousin who just all adore him! And we can all see why:
And that cheeky smile that's bound to break a few hearts:
But sometimes being this darn cute can be all too much:
Next up were two brothers who I just couldn't get enough of. Big brother N was so patient and caring toward little brother K. And boy was this kid smart and cute and so much fun! Check out the brotherly love:
And little brother K was loving him right back....
Last up for the day was little miss L who is just so lucky to have such loving parents. She cried when I picked her up but just look at how she behaves for her daddy:
And she even managed a smile for him:
And at the end of the day, what else was a girl to do but cuddle up to her favourite man:
Can we say Awww.

I Believe
But to my defence, the 80's really wasn't a very feminine era (am I showing my age?). Think about it. There was Transformers, He-man, Night rider, Dukes of Hazard and really big shoulder pads.....at least that's my recollection of the 80's.
Now, if they had half the cute girly things in the 80's that they have now, I may very well have turned out to be a different person(think fairy wings and tiaras). Anyway, now that I'm the grown up and the only girl in the household, I've decided to become more in tune to my inner "girly" child. So when I saw these wings yesterday, I just had to have them. They are very small but sooo cute.
And here's some more from my collection...
